When work and a serious injury overlap.

An injury during a delivery, at a construction site or in a collision while working can raise more than one question. There may be a workers’ compensation claim and a separate issue involving a driver, contractor or another company. Tell us both what you were doing for work and how the injury happened so that each possibility can be evaluated.

Start with our workers’ compensation practice and personal injury practice. We can discuss disputed benefits, claim denials, injury evidence and insurance correspondence.

A crash claim is more than the repair bill.

Vehicle repairs, medical expenses and the effects of an injury on your daily life involve different records. Keep them organized, but do not assume a property-damage decision resolves an injury claim. Preserve photographs, witness contact information and the actual documents an insurer asks you to sign.

See our guides to Oregon car accident claims and UM and UIM coverage for questions to bring to your conversation.

Start with the decision you need to make.

If you are facing a denied claim, a proposed settlement or a deadline, tell us that first. Send a short explanation of your concern through the contact page; the firm can explain how to provide additional documents when needed.

EWC Law is a branch of Eiva Law. Learn about the firm and our Eugene office. We serve clients throughout Oregon, not only people who live near either office.
